The Altec Lansing sub woofer/amplifier with 2 sony speakers gives good quality 2.1 digital stereo or surroundsound direct from your computer audio output (Earphone output). This system is better than many other computer-based home sound systems & gives a big clear sound.
Subwoofer is model MX-5021 and has a built-in amplifier that can independently power two other speakers (2 Sony). The woofer fabric grill has some wear, but is otherwise in good condition. The MX-5021 comes with a separate remote control for volume, balance, tone and off/on switch. Please see photos for pictures of the control.
This subwoofer has its own independent power input and plugs directly into the computer audio/earphone output (It does not drain computer power via USB).
I will demonstrate the subwoofer for all interested buyers prior to purchase.
